WP - Friends site not indexing for me! Help

I have a friend who I have offered to help with SEO and he handed it over not indexed in ANY search engine even though the site has had 100's post and items to it.

Am I missing something in the code?

I have seen bots come and go and have submitted using Webmaster tools.

if it is the site in your sig then it may be this: <meta name="robots" content="noindex">

Check the option to block search engines isn't turned on in the admin some one click installers turn it on by default
