Hello all i`m looking for a site to be built for me :

I am looking for a wordpress site with price tapestry built or similar built into it, all products i`m selling will come from amazon (unless there is another affiliate for this product),i will need a few different sections for each type of product, I want to have content on each page which i can add, I need an about page, contact page and all of the above,

Anyone that i use will need to have experience with both Wordpress and more importantly price tapestry.

also I will need a logo making for the site, as far as plug-ins go i`m not sure whats available as i havent worked with wordpress before,

but anybody with experience i`m sure you can suggest some to me???

i dont need the domain name, dont need hosting but if you can give me a good deal i may use you for hosting too.

Please PM me for anymore details, i am looking for quotes and will need examples of your work before i go ahead with any deal.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, not sure on budget yet, I havent been quoted any price so far.

Thanks for the heads up about the plug in, I know the usual PT is £200.00 I take it the plugin will be cheaper than that?

thanks

I've just taken the plunge with pricetapestry solid product but you need to learn a bit of PHP if you want to use it properly.
Might be overkill if your just selling from amazon.

Easycontentunits may be a better fit they offer a free version that uses their links 20% of the time or they have a premium version for around £20 per month and you keep 100% comission.
I built whitenetbook /co/uk using this. I customised the theme to pull in the prices from the content unit using its ID which speeds up adding stuff a bit.

Then again if your only selling from amazon you probably dont even need price comparison so a dedicated amazon plugin may be more use to you.
Why dont you sign up for a free Easycontentunits account see if other programs sell your products.

I'm not 100% sure but I assumed the plugin would be available alongside the current script ie. you pay £200 for the normal script and you get to use the plugin as well

You can create a blank WP page inside a normal site with a template installed:

Code:
<?php

/*

Template Name: a Store Page

*/;

?>

<?php get_header(); ?>

<?php get_footer(); ?>

Create a page for the shop and select what you called this in "Template Name: " as the template for that page.

And post anything inside it (php or HTML). Will be full width so no sidebars etc. so good for a products page. Not sure it helps with what you want but works well on amazon astore code.

Thanks again guys, still not had any quotes yet...

I`d prefer for somebody to get me the site up and running, with a couple of catagorys then i`ll add the rest.

I dont have a clue what to do with WP, this is why i need to pay somebody to do it for me.

Thanks

Hi guys just to let you know i will be buying a template to use on the site, and will buy PT or similar to use on it, I basically need it all putting together.

Thanks
