It's to promote the http://oakmillchase.co.uk/ website. I like the creativity but it may need some usability tweaks.
After you get a rocket and paint it and then blow up an asteroid it then gives you a picture of a solar system and where the planets should be there are some little ads for property companies which you can hardly read

It's for Countryside Properties, whats 2K in an ad campaign budget to them? I agree it's a bit dull to really work though.

I don't really understand the link between that and homes. Surely a concept that fit better to the property market would make more sense. I've gone away thinking about spaceships, not houses. They probably did 10-15k developing that along with the outrageous domain purchase....
I have tripofalifetime on .co.uk, maybe I should sell holidays by using an animated game about a rabbit digging a burrow and finding hidden easter eggs.

Compared to the OP, I think the domain is too well suited to the concept. You should definitely think about buying an even more irrelevant domain on SEDO for it - just make sure you waste as much money as humanly possible! Maybe have a chat with that LDN fella!

I'm guessing its a precursor to a large marketing campaign around the 'out of this world' strapline that will be coming shortly. They would of had enough of a budget to make the £2k price (plus dev costs) chicken feed.
