How refreshing to see Sony's offering. I was not expecting that!

My son has been an Xbox fan since the original console. He is now saving to buy the PS4.

Whoever makes the shift does so until the next console comes out. So that's most likely 8yrs of game purchases plus online subscription. That's a lot of dosh from just one household.

It also means lovefilm, etc will be able to offer new generation titles to its customers for hire. Now impossible to do with Xbox One titles as there is no rental market

It is a no brainer for my son and i'm sure a seismic shift of other loyal customers.

M$ are surely going to have to change their policy on activation and used games, the internet is full of people saying they're ditching their Xbox for Playstation.

Agreed, I've seen hundreds of comments saying they are ditching the Xbox for the PS4, you would think that they HAVE to change the way games can be shared/traded etc.

I never thought I would say it but I think I'm going to put in a pre-order for the PS4, I hate the PS3 but it looks like its time for change, as long as I have my 360 for Forza I will be happy.
