should have traded the ST in for an Smax 2.5 ;-) same engine, and runs like a demon. (A demon that guzzles petrol I should add). It's nice and quick.

Just bought a 6/4 pot big brake kit all four corners to go on and an uprated torque convertor.. should go like a rocket when Ive finished it

Don't get a Kia Sedona! Please don't!
I drove one for a while, and even though the inside is really nice high and comfy (Captains' chairs), the performance is terrible, and they are guzzlers...
Try a Vauxhall Zafira instead or Chrysler Voyager.... I've driven both and they are much better than the Kia!

hahaha I keep getting stopped by folks thinking im Harry Kewell. Someone stopped me last week and said we've seen him driving around in a 4x4 ... I didnt tell him Ive got a 4x4 with a matching plate :-D

Just noticed you said why..

mainly cos there very rare over here.. they have a few problems but nothing throwing a fistful of notes at wont fix. I wanted something I could modify alot and it shares alot with the Toyota Supra. Toyota ended up ditching the ageing Supra for the SC for GT racing.

What did you do to it to get it to 365bhp? Ive got code red on my ST2 which puts it at 285. Would like that little extra (although the front wheel drive may struggle - why oh why did they no go rear wheel drive?)

I jacked my car in and put the missus and little un in a 4x4.

I cant be arsed to drive any more, I find it very, very boring this days and prefer not to have the hassle of servicing/repairing/replacing.

Instead, I take 8 overseas holidays a year. :mrgreen:

ford owe me a lot of money(still)but i took part payment by them sending my focus to germany and having it ecu-remapped,splitter exhaust,increase in turbo intercooler,i was a part-time rally mechanic and worked at the old ford rs centres they use to have when we had rs turbo's knocking around,they didn't pay me for attending the rallies and i lost lots of money because the main dealer paid me for working at there garage(when i was there),and no one paid for the time i was away on rally duty.

it was a one of a kind car st-3,problem is it was illegal in this country to drive,the new owner has been told that it will fail it's mot when it's due,it will fail on emissions,and cannot be catalysed,it was a frightening car to drive with to much power on the front,it thrown it's pulley and smashed the valves so it had a rebuild.

and yes the s-max is the best people carrier out there by a long long way,i chose the sedona because it has a merc 2.9 engine rigged to a smooth auto box because my leg has pins in so driving a manual at the moment is hard.

there is certainly some very nice motors on here,there must be money in domaining?:mrgreen:

now when i was 22 i was driving a cossy(hail the god),and my insurance was £200(normal tpft £2300),little trick use motor trade insurance,it covers you for only minimum insurance,what we in the trade call road risk you don't after be in the trade to apply,good news is you can drive any car on the road(apart from ferrari's it's in the small print)

wow things have changed, my first car (customised Ford Escort MK1) didn't even have paint on it (it was all primered) I was so proud of it too!
