Hi all ,

how many of you have your own domain if so did you register them all ie .com .co.uk .org.uk and .me.uk ?

I've got full name in .com and .co.uk and my surname .co.uk

Full name .com/.co.uk were both hand regs. My surname .co.uk was an acquisition, and a fairly costly one at that. Worth every penny though, there's no way I'd sell it.

I didn't bother with alternative extensions but would have considered them in the case of my surname, had I not been able to buy the .co.uk.

I have the .co.uk in my full name i havent got the com would love to have the surname but that would be a small fortune . I was thinking the .org.uk and me.uk are avaliable so not sure weather to reg them ...

I wouldn't bother myself, not if you've got the .co.uk. Leave them for someone else with the same name.

There are risks in leaving extensions though, I had someone set up a male escort site on my abbreviated full name .co.uk . Thankfully, that site is no more.

back when I registered my surname, you only registered .com if you were a global business so I went for the .co.uk then along came the dot com boom and my name was gone in .com

....co.uk use as my WHM primarily. Someone else has the .com and other extensions, seems my name is more common than I once thought. There is even a Facebook page devoted to the name, randomly. Nothing to do with me.
