My domains were renewed despite my payment information being incomplete. I am in the process of sorting this out as I set the domains to manually renew not auto renew.
If you are with 123-reg please watch out for unwanted domains automatically renewing.
PS: Thanks Khalid for the link, hope your issue also gets sorted. 123-reg should really overhaul their entire system to avoid losing customers.
