got an email this morning to say 2 names have been renewed, thats strange as i always delete my card details after a purchase.
got in touch with them and they went through my paypal?? i dont have any paypal details in my 123 account im sure you cant even renew using paypal??
is this right??

The only thing I noticed is that if you pay with Paypal even just once then it sets Paypal as your payment method instead of your card so think if you have ever paid with Paypal as a one off sometime ?

I think they really need to start having an open and transparent payment system which is absolutely clear in asking customers if they want to keep payment details stored. I've been caught out with them in the past too.

When i was with 123-reg last year I was always told you couldn't make payment via paypal for renewals. You could pay for fresh regs and other products via paypal but not renewals. Maybe they have changed their cart/payment system since.
