Just registered one with 45,000 Exact Matches (£0.71 CPC) real good niche, but feel out of my depth regarding price. Trusted advice please by PM...

1,000,000 exact global.

It is film related two short words (5, 6)

Not a TM.

Edit: No secret now... filmyonline.co.uk - Filmy online means "movies online" in English from Polish. The exact local figures are taken from the United Kingdom Google searches so many Polish people looking for online movies

I think you need to brush up on the forum rules :) This is the domain offers invited section. If you are looking for advice on value you should head over to the Domain Appraisals section.

I offered my appraisal wasn't the answer he was looking for though.

Peter, I guessed at 'watch movies' but that was 450,000 exact local not 45,000.

watch-movies.org.uk is avail if anyone wants it...

OK it is...

filmyonline.co.uk

Filmy online means "movies online" in English from Polish. The exact local figures are taken from the United Kingdom Google searches so many Polish people looking for online movies. I don't see any problem with legitimacy as there are providers of online films that are legit e.g. Love Film.

As I said via PM we all know probably 95% of them searches are for "free" or "pirate" films. GKT backs it up if you do an exact search for "films online". As does a search on google for "films online".

An appraisal of £0 is not what I am looking for obviously. I can't see the problem with it. So a website called only musicdownloads.co.uk would also be worthless?

You asked for an appraisal and that's what I think its worth, that's what an appraisal is. If you want an overinflated value put the domain through estibot or one of them similar sites.

*UPDATE* - Estibots gone with $ 380 USD, I'm obviously in the wrong here.

I don't want an over inflated price. I want it's value nothing more nothing less I think it will go for more than £0 in my opinion.

That's fine, good luck with the sale.

Aaron is wrong to be fair, the value is not £0. It's value is actually -£6 because I have a feeling when it doesn't sell, you are going to renew it in 2 years time.

Well pointed out Graeme!

Dale, here are the problems:

1. Those people are looking for free films online - which is illegal.
2. They are Polish.
3. Any person buying the domain would have to speak Polish.

You're potential buyer list is so small that its unlikely to sell. You have to find a website developer who deals in illegal development and speaks Polish - see how specific that is?

I also did a few other searches to check if that figure is legit and it is likely its not - its not a good idea to base your valuations entirely off the keyword tool.

serialeonline.co.uk - 22k exacts is free to reg! :D (it means TV online in Polish)

they are just jealous jonesy, you register as many high keyword searches as you can, then when your sat behind the wheel of a luxury boat, you can remember the people on here who doubted you.

Infact, your too good for this forum, you should maybe consider going somewhere where they appreciate domains with values.

PS

when your on the new luxury boat, dont get caught standing behind that wheel, you better get below decks asap, dont forget to really scrub the pans in the head, and while your borking with every scrub, as you kneel in the holidaymakers vomit, you remember that although you may be penniless, your domains will one day be worth a mint.

This is a perfect example of the misuse of the google keyword tool!! Please pretend it doesnt exist until you've narrowed things down to a few domains where your common sense tells you 'they look like a good buy'. GKT is not a replacement for your brain and exacts can in no way be converted into £s.

Throw the English>Polish dictionary away.

The simple advice I gave to someone else was Look for generic product domains for products you can find on Amazon. This way at least Amazon Affiliates can be set up on it, which makes it monetisable.

Eg. FirewireCables, SolarLamp stuff which you can sell.

Once you have some Amazon Products look at what other affiliates are out there.

Start here and work from that :)
