Sorry, but I think he's a pillock. He could have seriously hurt or killed any pedestrian or other driver. People like him need to be banned from driving.

A tool. Go to the track if you want to get it out of your system.

I think he is a dick, the same i do about boy racers! its the reason mine yours and everyone else pays too much for car insurance!

As stated above, go to a track where you can only wipe your self out,Even its just in a kart or something (There is a good number of karts that are faster than ferrari's)

Tossers man thats all i can say

I'm skilled with a Nunchaku but I don't walk through town swinging it around, I use it in the right environment.

Total nob head who needs some other driver to catch him and kick his head in ;)

i think Insurance rises are due to Foreign Nationals who think we are a soft touch

whiplash claims put an extra £80 on your premium

Good point.

I was hit by an uninsured asylum seeker leaving Salford University years ago - he drove into my back wheels head on and knackered my back axle. It was totally his fault too.

He then had the cheek to try and claim for whiplash and 'emotional' injuries (I think he got a payout?) from my insurance despite the fact he had none! (He also used his free asylum seeker's legal help to do it!). :-x

Ouch! I think I might get one of those car recording cams for driving, great proof if any plonkas hit you etc. :)

I'm sure it's GW who has a number of suitable domains names for such products!

lol, funny you should say that mate, I guess you already know.. Every time I hear of these crash for cash schemes I think about setting something up on them, also the meteor in Russia yesterday was caught on them. They all seem to have them in Russia.... But some reason they don't seem to have caught on here yet.

Drivers like that will die at some point, whilst they might think they have control of their car, they have no idea what any vehicle in front will do, and we know drivers often make sudden decisions/manouvres, it only needs to happen once and he and possible innocent bystanders are history.

I think insurance companies/government will try to get dash cams made compulsory in the UK at some point, which I think would be a good idea, it would automatically make people more careful and thinking twice about what they're doing, knowing it's all being recorded, and would be a huge help in insurance claims if everyone had them.

I think there should be incentives in the way of reductions in insurance for dashcams. 1 in every 7 crashes is linked to crash for cash according to the new yesterday. That figure is absolutely staggering.

totally agree..

Fro what I have seen from previous cases, people like this in cars like these are usually sons of connected people in Russia. They don't to usually go to prison.

Insurance fraud is ridiculous over there, everyone needs to have them simply to prove pedestrian knock-downs are mainly fake!

I have seen some absolute crackers mate, you are right it's big business. Maybe that is why they are big over there. Maybe they were just a few years ahead of our fraudsters.

Although wouldn't it be funny if one of those scam pedestrians tried to pull a scam on the guy in the original post.

Didn't somebody post a youtube clip on here about a pedestrian "flopping" over a bonnet of a car trying to get compo...but at least it's better than working for a living i suppose :p
