account showing as Unpaid is this normal?

Ive sent some emails this morning with no reply and just wanted to make sure that it was all ok.

I am using the escrow service as a buyer and have paid the escrow account through paypal at around 10am this morning and its still showing as unpaid on my account. Does it just take a while to show up? Both the seller and I are keen to get this moving forwards.

Im nervious about all this as it is as Im not a dealer Its my first purchase in this way. So I just want to make sure all is well.

It takes a while to show up as being paid, sometimes a day.

Ok its 24 hours now and its still showing as unpaid which Im feeling uneasy about.
Do the Sedo UK office have a contact number?? as they are not replying to my emails and I want to check that all is ok!

Hello Emma57573,

I am happy you have posted this, because it gives me a chance to clarify the procedure with Paypal payments.

Our Accounts department receive a very large amount of Paypal payments every day, and they have to go through them all, check the reference number against that of the transfer and then mark it as 'paid', before the transfer agent can confirm this fact to the buyer.

Although I realise the payments themselves are instantaneous with Paypal, the volume that we receive means we cannot see immediately which payments have arrived. If you do pay by Paypal, please be aware that in the vast majority of cases, it will be the next business day that you receive confirmation of this from us.

Emma, feel free to PM the domain you have paid for, and the Paypal transaction ID, so I can check on this one for you.
