I'd like to make an offer on a .co.uk name (isn't listed on Sedo or similar).

However, I want to keep my ID/details private/anonymous. If the potential seller of the name knows I'm after it, the price will double or triple, lol! They may not even sell it.

What's the best way of doing this? New e-mail address and Escrow? Or ask for a broker to help (e.g. Sedo)?

Anyone here help (for a fee of course)? :D

Thanks all. :)

Edit: Just found this: http://www.domaininvesting.com/quick-tip-to-stay-anonymous-via-escrow-com/

Every time I get an inquiry about a domain it's from a random @gmail that I can't find used anywhere else online..

Why not just make a @gmail or @live and email anonymously like you said.

Once they've agreed to sell, I don't see how they once they've taken payment from you they can see your details and then go "oh actually send me 2x that please" :p

Correspond from an email address not linked to you on the internet.
