I don't play games really (apart from worms 2 Armageddon on my phone)

But I've started playing a game on my browser: agario http://agar.io

^ You just need to click play (can also put in a username is you like) and away you go

You're a cell, you eat other little bits to get bigger, then you can absorb other players who are smaller cells than yourself, but the only problem is the bigger you are the slower you are so you can't catch them

But when you press the space bar you split and get a burst of speed, so you have to hunt around for cells just under half your size so when you split you're still big enough to eat them

But the trouble is while you're trying to catch others, bigger cells are trying to absorb you

You can hide in the green spiky things at the start (as long as you're smaller than they are), they burst cells bigger than themselves

It's fun and very addictive

My high score is 1400 something, I was massive.

Myself and mates have been playing this on and off since it originally launched. It is very addictive so should have included a warning with your post that if you click the link, make sure you've got the time, as you may look at the clock and wonder where 2 hours just went!

Only problem is that the largest cells typically work with others to help build them up, so we now do the same. We had the top 6 cells covered until the server reset grrr

Yes! one game I got to about 5th and someone just above me wasn't that much bigger to absorb me so I didn't worry about going near them

Then someone else behind them expelled mass into them so they were big enough to absorb me :shock: I was not pleased at all, the cheats.

Does it automatically after about 20 seconds, not sure if eating more of the non-player little dots makes it quicker

Just make sure your parts don't split too far away from one another when you're moving and that you don't get absorbed before you reform

People seem to smell blood when you split and come after you more :shock:

Yes good game. I've found it can make me get quite angry though. I'm now finding myself shouting expletives at the screen especially when seeing some giant blob passing one of those plant things and no git trys to shoot the plant thingy into it. Or when you try to do it some git keeps trying to eat you. Or some git try's to eat you and is obviously the same size but keeps trying anyway. Or when you do all the hard work and break up some giant blob thing and some other git comes along and eats most of the spoils.

After clearing my history last night I went and typed agor.io into the address bar this morning by mistake. That certainly woke me up.
