Morning,

Bit of advice sought.

I've sold a .org.uk domain to a member on the site, so want to nominet transfer it to them.

The problem is, is that I hand-regged this with 123-Reg nearly two years ago. The domain is not in my normal nominet account.

What's the best/easiest way to make the new owner the "legal owner". I want to do this as quickly as possible, as I don't want to mess the new owner around.

Cheers.

In your 123 reg account, whatever email address is associated with the registrant/owner of the domain is what you'll need to login with. I know companies like Namesco allow you to change the registrant details (nominet login email) per domain so perhaps you could change it's in there?

I would imagine your 123-REG account email would be the Nominet email used.

Are you trying to login using the same email associated with 123-REG?

Another way you could try, login in to your main Nominet account then click merge accounts look under "accounts available / unavailable". See if its listed under either of them.

If you believe you registered the .org.uk a few years back with the same email address you are using now, do a password reset at Nominet.

For some reason password resets show up lost accounts associated with the one email address.
