Hi Can anyone reccomend a good affilate scheme for mobile phone sales in the u.k ? Ideally i would like a company that pays out a good rate of commision

i'm happy for a click through type affilate , price comprassion type affilate or white label type mobile phone store.

Or a combo of all the above .

I can make mini sites so adding links or iframes is fine.

All Advice is welcomed on how best or how not to go about doing this :)

It's mostly a waste of time guys, 95% of the affiliate schemes out there are affiliates of affliates and from my experience I don't trust their reporting figures. Not talking about banner affiliates like trade doubler etc, just the white label type sites who provide content.

If you have a site big enough then you can go direct, but talking massive traffic needed.

I make more from adsense than I ever did from affiliates.

I like:

- Carphone Warehouse buy.at
- Vodafone Awin
- T-Mobile buy.at
- 3 Mobile buy.at
- Orange buy.at
- O2 buy.at
- Virgin Mobile buy.at

If you want a comparison script, then a user at affiliates4u.com has developed one, but I don't know how good it is.

Rgds

I get some good traffic on Phone Shop - Seems that the links to the networks direct convert the best, i.e. better than the retailers but Carphone Warehouse does OK.

Most of the mobile affiliate schemes are at Buy.at, for Three you can go direct and earn a bit more. People whinge about the approval rates but I have done OK so far, touch wood.

Maybe Amazon for accessories etc ?

mobiles4everyone is another option i have a white label with these guys though the admin never seems to email back,
I also use urmob which i prefer because they give you 80% click through and he takes 20%. m4e is £20 per sale. You get some good statistics too which helps me decide what reviews and articles to write in this competitive area.

Id agree with Peacocks commend about going directly through the network
from 8 iphone sales ive had recently 5 have been through vodafone though they tend to pay less :( carephone warehouse is up at £60 a sale atm and vodafone is only £20. :(

Let me know if you find any other solutions, id quite like to move from m4e

Kind Regards

Isaac

Issac , i was wondering , with mobiles for everyone , which do you use :-

An instant ready-to-go white label site
I'd like to integrate your frame into my own site
I'd like to use your raw datafeeds and develop my own site

i was going to use there instant ready - to - go white label , but do they allow you to put your own content , rss feeds , etc on there ?

can you send a link to your site pls.

Sure i use the white label @ shortcontracts dot co dot uk
not really developed that site at all yet I just parked it with m4e because im not sure what my next move should be to drive traffic.
The white label you can't do anything with as far as I am aware and the admin doesn't reply to emails.

You can use iframes with urmob and m4e which are quite reliable, the only problems I've had with them is some queries are far to slow to execute.
This guy uses iframes and integrates feeds which is probably what your looking to do: -
www dot comparemobiles dot com

I've no experience with the datafeeds, but its something I'm considering developing for one of my other sites I bought recently for Android handsets.

A round about answer! LOL

Isaac
