Is it pssible to get past data for the local searches information? As it only caters for the current month, I'm wondering if there's a way to compare that to previous months data, or is this no longer available once the latest months data is added?

I guess there's always google trends to see if there is a general or seasonal trend, but I thought I'd ask this in case there's an easy method of gaining access to historical information..

The existing Adwords Keyword Tool only seem to show relative values for tje other months. You want the new Keyword Tool which is linked to when you're logged in to Adwords.

With the new tool you can download a CSV with monthly search volumes from last months to one year before that.

whats options is that under zaclondon?

To access the new Keyword Tool?

1) Signup to Adwords
2) Click on Tools -> Keyword Tool
3) There will be a link to 'New Keyword Tool(Beta)' - click it.

Now you can export your results which will contain monthly search volumes.

I had to click the Opportunites tab to find it.

Does this beta version still give the option for exact searches or is that what Local Monthly Searches is?

I'm not a Keywords Tool expert as you can probably tell

Keyword match type can be selected at the bottom left-hand corner. The keywords filtering options above it is also very helpful. I'd advise anyone knew to this tool to fully explore it.
