I'm having great difficulty getting some money from a merchant on Affiliate Future. I understand that AF only pay me once they get paid by the merchant, but this particular merchants payment I've been chasing since November (only started chasing in November, but this goes back to middle last year)!

Is anyone else having issues with a certain AF sports related merchant?

Would it be wrong of me to contact the merchant direct and ask is going on?
 
I have been owed £200 for a few months now but I only noticed a few days ago.

I opened a support ticket last week and they are chasing the merchant for me. Might be worth doing also?

I got the 'were chasing the merchant' response back in November..... Have already been through and raised tickets etc, but getting no response now (which is quite concerning).

Its been 2 days since they last answered me, with a 'this has been passed to the merchant manager, who will contact you shortly' response.

Last time this happened to me my account manager processed a payment within 48hrs. I have no reason to expect it to happen this time also.
 
Well after writing a very direct email, and sending it to both the merchant and Affiliate Future, I'm finally starting to get somewhere (maybe....). Its meant many support tickets going back and forth this morning, with the story changing on their end 4 or 5 times now.

AF have admitted the merchant hasn't paid an invoice since September, yet anyone can still sign up and promote this companies products. They assure me they are chasing for payment, and I'll get it blah blah blah.

Tbh, as soon as that payment is received, I'll never go back to AF.

Glad you are getting some kind or response, although not quite what you hoped for.

There are some decent merchants on AF but they are getting fewer and fewer.

AF are s**t - had to query why a merchant im promoting is not showing any clicks for the last 4 weeks,

the response, it nearly made me fall off my chair.

"They don't actually pay out commission on clicks just sales. "

DOH :confused::confused::confused: OH REALLY MY BAD - SO WHEN I WANT TO LOOK AT CONVERSION RATES AND PERFORMANCE OF TRAFFIC, ILL JUST PICK A FIGURE OUT OF THIN AIR SHALL I??
 
Well, I had another reply today, from someone who claims to be an account manager for the merchants (only after I sent another wtf is happening email). Basically said they are talking to Millet Sports accounts department, and hope for payment in the next few weeks.

This has now gone beyond a joke, as I started chasing them in November.

Needless to say my reply to him was less than polite, but still remaining (just) professional. They answered my email just before close of business, so they'll get my reply first thing tomorrow morning.
