I have hundreds of videos from the last 5 years taken on iphones of the kids, but now when I try and watch them on the TV or computer, they are all shot with the camera held portrait as you see most people doing, but they playback in landscape and my neck hurts watching.

Anyone any ideas how to force these to play in portrait, can videos be turned?

Thanks in advance.

There are two options, you can all lie on the floor and watch them sideways, or the easier option, just turn the TV on one side. Sorted!

So glad I wasn't drinking when I read that.

See its tough, and there must be millions of people looking to do the same over the next few years, must be someone brain who can sort it and make a mint doing so.

I use VLC (free programme, windoze or mac). Its a simple video player and can bulk rotate vids!
