So here is a problem i'm experiencing, i tried to register a domain through Moniker.com - registration was a fail multiple times.
Failed to create a Domain in registry. Error checking availability of a Contact in the registry. Error code: 2000 - Connection refused"

Did a purchase with Godaddy, i got a confirmation email that contained no reports of an error, but knowing Godaddy this is not uncommon.

With Moniker.com when i check shortly after with Nominet the registration shows up in the WHOIS.

Now with Godaddy it still doesn't show up.

Is there a problem of some sort with registering .co.uk domains today...yesterday?

What's going on?

Your thoughts are much appreciated!

You can make a complaint with Nominet. Has been lagging by a good 10 minutes since they put in the online transfers.

yes I had a delay of 10-15 minutes yesterday on a couple of tag changes, haven't done that today. 5 EPP registrations today have gone through immediately though.

Is the delay you've seen with the automaton or just generally?

It seems to be about 15 mins delay at the moment. I registered a domain through my normal hosting billing system which is still Automaton and this didn't go through until 14 mins later, however it was still quicker than the time taken to load my EPP test code, re-point to the live EPP and then correct the typo :)

Fortunately Godaddy came through, unfortunately Moniker did not.
This delay issue probably causes a connection error on Moniker's end.

Beats the hell out of 3 days lag, I had with 123-reg since the 10th July (domains registered on the 10th, 11th, 12th wasnt actually registered until the 14th July), so count ya self lucky you didnt lose some of your domains like i did :(.
