What do Nominet normally do in situations like this; just add them for automatic drop the following day?

Been on the phone to nominet and they are saying nothing is wrong, no complaints etc and have asked for a few examples

How can they not be aware and not have someone/something monitoring the system to ensure drops are happening. They are such a shoddy outfit at times.
