I would say ~£500 however I am guessing you have been quoted £995+vat - £3995+ vat

They quoted me around £1500 about 6 months agobut i've now got them down to £495 + VAT. From what I can see, the more popular Mark.co.uk sold for £500 so I'm trying to use this to get the price down a bit further.
Hmmmmm what to do?

mark.co.uk sale price is not reflective of value - I doubt you would get it for £10k if you contacted the new owner.

I agree.

I personally know two Marcs that spell it with a C instead of a K. However quite what that proves I dont know.
