IMHO, no I dont think so. What is a multifunctional device ? Why would anyone type it in (let alone add a hyphen) ? It doesnt really lend itself to an end-user consumer product either. I'm afraid it's just a bit too vague.
Multifunction devices are digital print engines that can scan, print, copy and fax. Some are networked and offer new features like scan-to-email and scan-to-folder. Others offer dual mono and colour capability.
So basically printers that do everything.
Some companys list them as Multifunction and others as Multi-function.
