whats 724?

random number?

No, it's the other way of using the abbreviation 24/7 which stands for "24 hours a day, 7 days a week"

Here it's "7/24" and that refers to "7 days a week, 24 hours a day"

There should be someone who's looking for a good "betting" domain name.

In forty odd years I've never seen or heard anyone in the UK use 724 in such a way, is it a common abbreviation in Turkey?

Sure it is. Also, it's not only used in Turkey. It's not the most common one but it's not really odd. Click here to see...

That's the similar way of putting parts of a word/acronym etc. in different order.

Have you ever criticize the word "center" that's in the US English? Actually, British English has it as "centre".

:)

A misspelling is quite different from changing the order of characters in an acronym.

Just my opinion but I would hazard that nobody in the UK would ever use 724 so you are flogging a dead horse with this on a .uk domain. Good luck with your sale, I think you'll need it. ;)

Actually, I'm not insisting on promoting that name so, you're right it's not british one:)
It might take a few minutes to find someone who gets interested in that name or it takes several years. But it's ok for me.
Meanwhile, honestly, I'm glad you gave your opinion.

Cheers!
