Bit confused with Pagerank, Page Authority etc.

Hi guys can someone please explain:
Pagerank, Page authority, Domain authority.

For instance I came across a site with 53 Page Authority but Page Rank 0. Is this a good site to get a link from?

PageRank = Google
Page Authority = SEOMoz
Domain Authority = SEOMoz

Page rank isn't updated much and isn't a particularly good guideline (can be faked too) I don't know much about SEOMoz bits, I generally like looking at Alexa ranks for sites to link to me.

No, it means the benefits it would normally pass have been (heavily) manually reduced by Google. Usually because of unnatural linking, paid posts etc.

Agreed but it would be rather unusual for Google to reduce PageRank all the way back down to zero...

Happens all the time, especially after the huge directory cull by Google.

yep, all of the blog networks that have been hit have been taken down to 0. Not unusual at all nowadays.

Interesting. I'd never seen it first hand; I've seen other sites had PR drop by several points and had one of our own sites taken from PR5 to 4 but I guess the spammy blog networks do deserve a total drop.
