You are stretching the image beyond its physical size, so it's pushing and pulling in directions it doesnt naturally fit. When you are on mobile because of all the content you have in the container, its making it higher than it is wide.
So the current 592 pixels in height of that image isnt tall enough to cater for the "cover" spanning of the background image.
Fix, upload an image which is of better proportions or reduce the amount of content in the slider for mobile.
