Hi,

Looking for aged domains with DA, or sites with traffic. Any aspect of heating and plumbing, although prefer boiler repairs and installs.

Varied budget depending on traffic/da.

Had a couple of really good names sent through already. Please not though, the value for me is traffic, age and DA (not spammy DA). Unfortunately, I can't get the value from generics with no traffic or DA.

Can somebody please remind me what DA is, and how to check it? (we really should have a sticky thread for all the abbreviations relating to domain metrics!)

It's domain authority.

You can check using tools like Open Site Explorer, Majestic, or Google "Domain DA Checker".

You can see the explaination from MOZ here.

When people are asking for DA, they are usually just looking for a site with a couple of links and a bit of age as opposed to new regs that will have no links or DA and will take a little longer to garner the trust from search engines.

All good for domains now (unless there is an exceptional name with really high DA and links from top end sites in this niche), so just sites with traffic and DA.
