Just about to switch to Bulb Energy anyone like to share their referral link. bulb.co.uk/refer/darrenc3100 £50.00 each back. Thanks.
Not a customer, but interested in how they perform, what they are like to deal with, and how straight forward the process of switching was (as it is often made a mess of by one party or another).
bulb.co.uk/refer/mathew5821 Had no problems with them, switching was easy and love that most of my energy is free as have managed to sign up a few people! App is also good for submitting meter readings etc.
Been with them since the start and have been very happy - bills have been correct, sending meter readings has been easy and the few times I've contacted them the response has been quick, and human - rather than scripted rubbish we get with other utilities. The swap was very simple - signed up and left them to it
Thanks guys, nice to get opinions here because on Trustpilot, everyone includes a referral link which makes you wonder how heavily that skews their opinion.
Throwing my referral into the ring for anyone thinking of signing up. Painless process so far and according to the calculator, despite being on a current fixed deal, it comes out cheaper and less hassle than changing tariff all the time. The environmental aspect is also nice to think I'm doing my bit, even though I'm probably not! £50 if you sign up with my link, same as the others, https://www.bulb.co.uk/refer/iand2060
All switched over and received my £50 today. First painless utility switch I've had thanks to Bulb's very clear prompts. https://www.bulb.co.uk/refer/iand2060
I've been using Bulb for 5 months now and except for them not being compatible with my smart meter, they are fantastic. I'd previously used E-on and Utility Warehouse. E-on were fine, easy to use, just a bit corporate and not the cheapest. I switched to Utility Warehouse as I was told by a rep how much better and cheaper it would be. I was very disappointed. Much more expensive than E-on, customer service via email was shocking, I racked up £400 in bills over 4 months and they gave me no notification that my usage was out of the ordinary (turns out it was a faulty fridge!). I then installed a smart meter and realised how expensive Utility Warehouse really was. Switched to Bulb and energy cost plummeted. The Bulb app is great for managing the account and it's renewable, which Utility Warehouse said they couldn't offer. There are plenty of referral links on here so I won't post mine. This is a genuine review rather than a pitch for a referral.
Have to agree, been with bulb for around 7 months now and definitely noticed a drop in my bills. Here's my referral link if anyone wishes to join using mine. bulb.co.uk/refer/alistairh3032
Gutted I have only just seen this. I've been with SSE for about a year and I would not recommend them, I recently found out about "uswitch" and decided to try Bulb, after some initial research. My switch date is next month.
I’ve been with SSE for over 10 years and they sent a letter telling my PrePay spend will go up £150 per year. So I signed up with Bulb. Switch date in a few weeks.
Yeah, Steve, pretty much the same. Just got a letter saying they will put it up £100+ a year, no thanks. Bye.
Hi guys, Ok looking to now switch myself, I really like the fact they pay for any exit fee's and they don't charge exit fees themselves. To keep it 'balanced', whoever here who hasn't had their referral link used by anyone yet let me know and I will use that.
