I've had a skim through the Sedo t&c but could not find anything on this.

If I list some names for sale with Sedo, and then later arrange a deal directly with someone to buy 1 or more of the names, does Sedo expect their commission? Or do they only get commission if a buyer buys through their system?

If the fomer case, it would make you want to remove the names if you're proactively contacting potential buyers, rather than keep them listed for more options, wouldn't it?

As far as I know, you are only contractually obliged to sell a name to someone on Sedo if you click to accept their offer, Sedo will then get their 10% sales fee, but if someone has approached you independently about a name you have listed for sale on Sedo, it's nothing whatsoever to do with Sedo.

For some auctions they used to take on a set period (6 months) that they would 'market' the domain for and take comission for any sale inside that time.

Worth getting Sedo to confirm or check the small print!
