Buying leads

I'm toying with the idea of buying a few web design/development leads as work is slow at the minute from my regular clients, and wondered if any of you had ever done this before?

Also, any recommendations as to where I should be buying from would be appreciated.

Have you considered selling on Fiverr ?

I find people on there for bigger projects I need/want doing, admitted I hunt there for cheapness on things I can't be bothered doing myself but work is work?

Thanks for the suggestion, I already use People Per Hour but find it very hard to secure work on there as my profile is new and I have no feedback.
