Can I do this with a mobile?

Was just thinking I spend a fortune retrieving msg's from my phone providers premium rate answer machine, Ive got 4GB memory card in my phone is it possible to record msg's directly to my phone when I dont answer it?

btw its a Sony k750i on 02, but would also consider buying another phone.

most providers offer free message retrieval now, don't they?

May be possible with a Symbian OS phone, take a look through the software available on Handango - Windows Mobile, Palm OS, BlackBerry and Symbian Smartphone Software Downloads see if there is anything you can do it with, most likely be the Series 60 UI as that tends to cater for most things.

I dont think so - as voice record is to network. As said above, usually that is free to retrieve.

best bet change plan if you are paying for voicemails

I would doubt it, but couldn't you forward your unanswered calls to a mailbox on your skype account, then retrieve them online for free, or remote for a tiny cost.

Just a thought!
