Error 405 Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for URL /cgi-bin/chfeedback.pl

i am gettin the above error when trying to send a web form from Music4Websites i am sure the perl file paths are correct, the file has been uploaded to FTP in the right format.

Any ideas?

Possibly a local security rewrite thing like Norton can't understand some iframe javascripts etc.

I don't have norton on this computer and still got your error so I'm not sure if this is the cause this time.

It may instead be that your "action" code doesn't point to the cgi-bin.

Try action="../cgi-bin/chfeedback.pl" something like that.

It's just possible that your ISP hosting the site may have to set permissions for it to work (bit unusual, but I'm told by our tech support it's possible.

Thanks for your help guys, i think it might be the ISP host, as it is the free blueyonder one.

I gave up and just used the mailto: option.

You could always use a free remotely hosted form:
