"Firstly, it has a sign that is similar to Apple's, secondly, it's name is similar, and thirdly, it allegedly is trading on Apple's reputation.
The Inquirer (http://s.tt/1n44G)"

Unless it has changed since the allegations were made, the logo that A.pl are using shares no resemblance to Apple's logo that I can see. This does seem grossly heavy handed on Apple's behalf to me.

It does make me wonder wether the owner of apple.co.uk that came on here did actually manage to sell it to them, I don't think it was ever confirmed?

Looking through the history of the domain (goes back to 2000), it seems it has gone through a few owners and websites. At one point, it seems to have been selling computer/tech devices. I spotted about 3 different logos but none were anything like the Apple logo.

p.s chanelbags.co.uk seems to have been picked up by someone else. Someone here i wonder?

update: chanelbags.co.uk has a website on it now. Seems that the same person has about 6 similar sites in the top 20 in google. All look very similar and no contact details just a contact form.

Its regd to some Chinese guy. Guessing by the prices he lists I reckon he's selling knockoff counterfeit gear

I used to own it but on the advice given on here, I deleted it and soon after it was picked up by this guy who seems to have quite a few related domains.

Searching on Google, I spotted at least 5 in the top 20.
http://www.chanelbagsuksale.net/
http://www.chanelbagsuksale.net/
http://www.chanelbagsonlinedeals.com/
http://www.chanelbag.co.uk/

All owned by the same guy.

Note the DMCA message on page 2 of Google for that term saying they already removed one site due to copyright infringement. It seems they take one down, and he has 3 waiting to go up. If you look at www.chanelbags.co.uk you will notice he is already link building to it. Low value, spammy links, but I suppose as this is only Medium competition term (due to copyright I presume?) but high traffic, it’s not hard to make it rank.

By the way, due to the close proximity from when I deleted the domain to the time it was registered, I am assuming the user is either a member here or is a lurker. In which case "you are welcome".

I'd put a bet on it not being a chinese person, but infact someone who has just registered it in a chinese persons name to avoid detection.
