I have a site all in html. Now changing to Zen Cart (php)

There are approx 15 html pages. The site ranks no1 for a lot of search terms and i do not want to lose them.

How do i set this up? I have had a look at a few examples and i'm lost.

How do I do a 301 for each page to point to its new php page? I have left the content, metas the same on the new zen cart page so hopefully nothing will drop as long as I get this right.

The new php pages are not the same name as the old html page.
(support.html is not support.php It looks more like index.php?main_page=index&cPath=71

I'm on my own Linux server

Thanks

.

If I was you I'd want to get rid of the crappy generic urls in Zen Cart and use some more SEO friendly ones:

e.g. get rid of: index.php?main_page=index&cPath=71 and replace it with something like http://yourstore.com/food/dog-food

I've never used ZEN Cart but this plugin says it should do the job:
http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=889

Once you have that all working you just then need to set up the 301 redirects in your htaccess file to point to the new nice URLs.

As above, I wouldn't even change from the .html unless you actually had to. I don't know Zen Cart but should be plenty of guides on how to set up pretty permalinks and use .html.
