Thats a very fair comment.

It sometimes depends on the currency used at that particular site. I Likewise can sometimes avoid local taxes.

I think the question you asked about 'cheapest and best' (which has been asked many times) Never has a definitive answer. and so theres nothing to be updated

Who are you happy with at the price charged ?, And that depends on your priorities - i've yet to find a one size (or price) model that fits all.

24 hour phone access ?
lock down systems ?
payment methods ?
free supplementary services ?
Even renewal windows ?

All play a part

All I would say is stay clear of 1&1 - never come across such a dire and unfriendly service!!
