Wanted: Website Review Cheerleader Costume Website

Just finished building an affiliate website using easy content units. Was hoping to get some thoughts/opinions and feedback for improvement on it.

This is only my third website i've created, and every time I make one, i learn so much more

The website is Cheerleader Costume

Yes it's quite nice, does the job. My feedback:

Like:

1. Header and logo, nice design.
2. Colours look ok
3. Layout is quite easy to navigate

Dislike:

1. Sexy and Kids sections on home page are too close IMHO

2. Remove the Facebook pluton until you have more 'friends'. Having just 2 makes you look not very popular which may impact on whether someone completes an order. Get it to 20 or more before you promote.

3. I would personally remove the advert banner above the content. If people gave found your site it is niche and specific enough to be relevant to their needs. Sending them off elsewhere won't help your aff commission plus really you are trying to direct visitors to a less related site so won't necessarily be wanted - plus it's above the fold so taking valuable space

4. I'd add more stock pictures (if poss)

You need to tweak the photo sizes, as at the moment some of the models look "deformed" because you've defaulted different-sized photos to the same width/height. The difference is pronounced, for example on the Zombie Cheerleader photo...

Did you mean the tabs at the top of the page?

Good point, my thinking behind this was that more people will be searching for cheerleader costumes in the lead up to halloween, and they may be open to other fancy dress costumes. So i thought the banner might be relevant? Could be poor logic? but i would definately remove if after halloween.

You're quite right! Unfortunately as I am using the free version of Easy Content Units, i cant change the sizes of individual photos. So it is something i guess i'll have to live with! Thanks for the feedback

I can't resize one individual image which is a shame! I can only change them all as a group, so i could make the squashed ones look unsquashed but then it would make the ones that aren't squashed at the moment look squashed. I could get rid of promoting that product all together i suppose.

I see, yeah good point. I'll write another few posts, so that there is a gap inbetween them.

The easycontent units are in javascript, not sure how i could overide that in CSS. Im not much of a coder though, so it might be possible.
