.co.uk domain name not renewed 25th July, how can I get it?

Hi all, I'm after a .co.uk domain name that was due for renewal 25th July 2010, so far it's not been renewed, when will I be able to get it and also can I pay a small fee to a company or domain name catcher to make sure I get it, not sure if you can do this sort of thing.

It's not a big name or anything that can make money but it's ideal for my needs and no I won't disclose the name lol.

Go to DomainMonster.com and try to back-order it, you won't be able to if someone else already has there.

Because like other drop catchers, they won't be in business for too long if they play games. Your fears are unfounded. Try caught.co.uk and droppr.co.uk as well.

Mark-UK - you're best bet is to book it with all of them (as it's usually no win no fee) to stand the best chance.

Chances are that even if someone else gets the domain, you can buy it off them.

I have most success with Caught followed by DropSystem ever since Dom Mon went live with the new system and all the other catchers are using it, my sucess rate has fallen through the floor.

DropSystem has the advanage of being able to buy more speed, so theoretically it can improve your odds.

I ordered the back order last night and just now tried searching for the name in their search box and its allowing me to back order, i thought it was 1 backorder per name?

I bet it is Domain Monster, and I bet he didn't "check out" - I have almost fallen foul to this myself by mistake, as once you have clicked "order" you need to check out and complete the purchase/order for it to be booked

It firmly is only one backorder per name so it shouldn't be allowing you to register another backorder if you've already placed it. End of story!
