.COM Transfer "Authorization Codes" ?

I am transferring a handful of .coms from freeparking to Godaddy. the first part is done and the GoDaddy emails have arrived. But when I go through the process it asks for "authorization codes" which apparantly get issued by the original registrar, ie. FreeParking.

Do these get sent automatically (and when?) or do I need to request them from FreeParking?

You will probably need to request them from freeparking. Make all of the domains are "unlocked" as well (you will probably need to request this too).
