not quite the co.uk or com but ive picked up a nice little domain for a soon to be mobile comparison site (Darren if your reading email me).

mobiles.compared .at

Will be lookng into other affiliates but mobiles will be the first as I already have a couple.

So what do you think about the domain as this is my first non uk/com domain.

is it that bad? only 9 people looking at the thread....
I hang my head in shame.

Not a bad domain ! I would say it is more of a brand to build, rather than something to sell straight away.

.at extension is not very desirable, but a site built up and functioning along with a good domain name like that, should get you some good results ;)

A pretty good domain hack IMO... If branded correctly you could do well with it - You could run lots of sub domains on it.

Rich

thanks guys.... I really starting doubting myself, thinking its a bum buy.

as a HLQ I thought .AT could contain many domains with good subdomains potential. All thats needed is advertising (adwords) becuase of the lack of typein traffic but when even the obscure is vanishing on the UK market other HLQ’s make cheaper quicker brandable names.
