It's a £20bn industry and Google are stopping Adwords against it as of July 11, 2016.
So the perfect time to buy a premium Payday Loans domain to capitalise on not being pushed down the page and to also profit from a huge market that certainly won't disappear anytime soon. It's now more regulated and definitely being pulled inline, that said there is still some great money to be made.
We have had 2 separate enquiries within the 6 weeks, pretty low ball but enough to make us think it's time to sell. So any fair £x,xxx offer will be accepted.

Bought domain for £3000
Spent more on design, hosting, some paid ads and over about 11 months made profit of around £10,000 (i.e. £15k income)
This was just over two years ago with very little direct promotion and only a bit of Social and Paid advertising... so the potential is definitely there. The market has obviously changed somewhat in terms of Google, but it is still valuable as a domain. We were ranking in the top 3 on a number of terms until about 18 months ago when we completely stopped working on it.
FCA changes were why we stopped using the domain as our embedded Ping Tree app form company wanted us to get regged. For us the Ping Tree worked really well around our pure affiliate links, with around 5 or 6 out of 10 applicants being successful in receiving loan offers - which paid us anything from £2 to £62.50 per successful loan.
Average ended up being about £21. At peak were getting on average about 15 applications a day.
Theres no VAT involved as this is a personal sale.
First decent offer and we'll sell (with the .uk rights of course)
BACS payment required within 48 hours to secure and transfer via Nom within 24 hours of that being in our account.
