I have had an offer for computertraining.co.uk however i think it is worth holding out for more than i have been offered.

What kind of value would you give this domain name?

computer

hello,
I think this is a great domain...
value to an end user into the low x,xxx maybe more
the longer you have it the more value it'll gain ....for sure..

On first look its a good name - however I feel there are a fair few substitute domains that could mean a similar thing.

Not sure on an actual figure though....

Cheers,
Rob.

I agree with Rob.

At first sight this is a desireable name, and popular judging by the other significant TLD's that are taken.

However, popularity does not always mean high value. The word "computer" is not ideal in a domain name, "pc" is much better and in most cases more appropriate. The best domains are short ones, and "computertraining" is rather a mouthful at 16 characters.

The meaning is perfectly clear, and the market is large. It should manage a sale somewhere into four figures, if I was after such a name I would check availability and prices of shorter alternatives as a benchmark.

pc-training.co.uk is an okay name. personally i think "-" wipes 90% off the value of a name..that is how i have tended to price them.

Do we get to know the offer price for computertraining.co.uk?

I would not say its as high as 90% however its always best to have the pair, ie. pctraining.co.uk and pc-training.co.uk .
