Couple of quick questions...

Hoping to catch a domain name due to drop in the next week or two.

Couple of newbie questions:

1. Do the domain names drop at midnight or at some other point later in the day?

2. Is there ANY chance of me getting this on my own - i.e. registering the domain through an agent like 123-Reg or someone like that?

I know the answer to the second question will depend upon the demand for the domain name. I don't think the name will be that popular (I've checked and it's not booked on DropCatcher)

I guess I'm asking if all dropped names get snapped up or whether there's a chance this one will not get picked up?

Answers:

(1) Totally random (ish).

(2) Not a chance if the domain is semi ok. Even crappy domains seem to get snapped up nowadays.
