Curious Email From TSOHost - Free Transfers On Accredited Partner Tag

Just got an email from tsohost

Our new Accredited Channel Partner status appointed by Nominet, the .UK registry means you no longer have to pay for domain registrant ownership changes - we can do it for free!

That's not right is it..

No its right if you give them consent they can change registrant details

I thought free transfers were for self-managed tags only

I know if a domain is expiring they can ask to take control of it (if given permission), but didn't think they could do a free transfer upon request.

I thought the big selling point of self managed that you could do a free transfer

Are they trying to push people to self managed or accredited, not a channel partner.

Quite possibly since channel partner is hardly any different to what solely existed prior to these three tiers.
