With DAC and the increased quotas is it now too risky to contemplate deleting and then immediately re-registering a domain name?

Can someone explain what the recent change is please? as far from anything being increased all I'm seeing is decreases.

If its half ok someone will grab it, I caught debtconsolodationloan.co.uk this afternoon and decided it was too long and its a typo so kicked it back.

Another forum member picked it up straight after :p

That depends on the value of the domain name and if someone's seen you doing it before. :) Why do you want to do it?

If I time it just right I can reduce the risk. Drop it with one TAG and immediately pick it up with one of my others.

why not just just to a RELEASE on the domain from one tag to the other. If it's PGP complient then the domain is never 'available'?

I'm assuming it's because he wants to change the registrant name without having to do a transfer, but maybe not.
