delicious & other social bookmarking sites

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody can offer some advice about social bookmarking. I've got a few (about 7 URLS) in delicious at the moment...But i'm not sure if...

a. i'm wasting my time
b. doing it right!

Basically I have created an account and just added a few URL's and titles. But surely there must be more to it than that to benefit from any advantage in the search engines.

Any social bookmarking advice on how to go about it or the best sites to join would be much appreciated.

In my opinion You should subbmit your site to like 50 most popular Social Bookmarking sites jut for the sole purpose of links. You can promote them further for the traffic if you have the time and skills
