I've noticed DMOZ has been down for a few weeks now, with no eta of being back up.
Tried submitting a site a few times now but no joy. Is it the end?
 
No, DMOZ are having technical problems which have now been sorted. Hovever, because DMOZ is so huge they are not rushing to get it back online.

What you see at dmoz.org at the moment is a static copy of the directory. All beckend functions are offline. Even editors cannnot log in.
