I don't think anyone is silly enough to buy it now - a ruined place for spammers that suddenly dedicated itself to cryptocurrency 3 days ago then for sale 2 days later.

hasnt been running since the current owners too control of it to be fair, I kept checking in and seeing what they were doing with it. Like the fact they jumped into XF2 upgrade as a positive step forward, but seemed to fall short of good execution and as Rob says then suddenly tried to step into Crypto discussion for the last week or so.

It was a dead man walking when Dicker had it, the value in that sale is the mailing list but that depends if its a cleansed list or just a built up database of years of being on vbulletin, plus domainers are not the most receptive of folk to promotional mails are they

Nice domain to have authority and rankings wise I guess but the baggage that comes with it......would have to be a killer sales price to tempt someone I think. Would be interesting to see the traffic stats though.

The owner is a business partner of Adam Dicker, he co-owns a few domains with him so he was hardly the right person to try and revive that place... if people lost trust in Dicker they were hardly going to suddenly put faith in somebody who publicly backed him and still has a business relationship with him.

Dicker also used to lie about the traffic stats to sell advertising (60 million uniques I think he said, which would put it in the top 100 most visited websites in the world), so don't be surprised if the membership numbers are also artificially inflated.

I would steer clear if I were you. The email list is probably spam material as well. No real value there.

It's been sold. One of the new owners (there's 3) used to be a mod there who had a grievance with the previous owners.
