Right, if your 17 or older and live in the UK then you can do something amazing today
Give Blood, the first time takes under an hour as you have to fill forms in and stuff, the actually giving blood lasts around 10 mins can be shorter for some people. Its doesnt hurt really at all.
If you havent given blood before go with a friend if you want, thats what I did on my first time, i went with couple of friends on morninig when lessons were cancelled and arrived hour late in afternoon but teachers were fine cuz i had been giving blood.
