now there is a new ext in the form of dot me,do you think this may put a little bit of value on me.uk

My view is it won't have much effect on .me.uk, mainly because .me.uk does not share the same novelty value of ending in just .me, i.e. names such as:

tell.me
insure.me
cheaperflight4.me

are clever and valuable, but the equivalent .me.uk don't work nearly so well.

If I was going to spend some money on aquiring , developing and promoting a domain I would prefer to do it via a name with Nominet in the UK than someone in Montenegro.
