can't believe you publicly admit to using ie Alien ;) :D

heh, no. If it ever comes to re-branding with DomainLord, it'll be a reg. fee domain name ;-)
I personally don't see anything wrong with domainlord, however if you do change your mind these are available:

dombid.co.uk
domauction(s).co.uk

I like that Dombid, quite catchy and brandable

Interesting 1st post :p

That's what i thought, how about domaincocky ? ( refering to the poster )

NB* that's the first time i've had to multi quote the same person :p

I was more thinking with your new signature, and very similar name heh :p

Signature maybe, but not a forum diatribe :)

Just a casual mention by sig, not a big ass post :)

I have Domain Baron .co.uk hehe! I'll be flogging my names directly from that site soon!

I like that, nothing wrong with Lord in my opinion!

I won an auction on DL last week. Went smoothly, name transferred etc. Everyone's a winner!

Oh well, looks like coins.co.uk is going to someone else :-(

Very nice price for a very nice name.

Glad to see the system worked well, very smooth bidding and sales system.

My sale of donate.org.uk went very smoothly as well.

I agree. I think the buyer got a good deal to be honest. I'll probably regret not bidding more a few years from now. My original cap was £2888 but got caught up in the whole auction fever thingy and ended up taking it to £3780

yes mate Well part of the agreement was that I bought out my service provider who's fee was 50%.

Thanks for the comments!

There is a little inconsistency with e-mail outbid notifications (I'm currently working to fix it), but everything else seems to be going as it should ;-)

Now -- come and give your portfolio some cashflow, post a good domain for an auction.

But it looks like your competition bidder was the service provider? Conflict of interest?

Well was the service provider acting independently of the auction site, 100%?

I put in proxy bid of substantially higher than the amount it went for. If Denys had been acting with a conflict if interest as he owned the auction site, he could have bid it up to that knowing what bid I put in.

As it was, Denys was acting in his own personal interests in obtaining the name personal use and not bidding up the price.

So I am 100% happy with how it went and that everyone acted 100% independently.

Just to add that Denys was looking into changing this a little in the future so that the owner puts in a reserve rather than a bid, which I think is a good idea.

No, as he owns it.

Does Sedo bid/buy on it's own auctions?
