Have a domain now sold, didn't realise the domain name was not on my Nominet account with all my other domains.

Looks like I used a different email address to register the name which I can't remember. Registrar is absolutely crap and useless and tell me they've deleted this information. They have an online 'service' which is meant to update the Nominet details but when I use this (of course changing the email address to my current one) I log in to Nominet and still can't see the domain name.

It's weekend. Should have completed the transfer yesterday evening. Registrar helpdesk closed for weeked (just have limited offshore email help)! Nominet helpdesk closed for weekend!

Anyone know of a way to transfer name across by either finding email address or going through Registrar so I can complete the transfer with the buyer????

Hi,

You'll only see the domain grouped in a Nom account if it has the same Registrant and TAG fields.

If you can change the TAG on the domain then I might be able to help you get into the domain account. If you change it to my TAG I could then change the registrant details for you which would allow you to log into the domain via Nom, but the TAG holder can't create a Registrant transfer, only the Registrant can do that.

Other than that not sure what you can do before Monday.

Regards

Ty
